Is Salvation a Miracle?

Basically, there are two different camps on how it is that a man comes to be saved. There are those who believe that God preordained… yes, predestined the elect (those saved) long before the foundation of earth. Then, there are those who believe men have free will and chose what to believe. Needless to say, there are many spins on both sides of that redeemable coin. Of course, each of us will say their take is heads and anything counter? Well, that would be the tale… TALE… sorry, I misspelt that: TAIL. Yeah – right. Anyway, as I meditate on these two doctrinal camps, Jesus is the way, truth, and life either way – the focus is on him. If anyone is saved – which, in the end is God’s call, not ours – it’s a miracle! Yes – from Jesus’ birth all on earth has been a miracle.  Jesus… God Himself… coming in human form…  a man of flesh, deity condescending… abandoning his heavenly station to wash his disciples feet. As for how I came to believe – you can toss the coin. However it lands, Christ will always be heads and the salvation of any man, a miracle. Now that’s quite a tale – TALE… of course there will be those who spin that one too.
