Even as the sun passes over us during the day and gives way to the night, such is the man who turns away from the Son of God when it is day to remain in darkness. While in this life evil may eclipse His light; as the moon does the sun, the grace of God may still cause His light to emerge and some may find escape.
However, in the next life? Those, who preferred the darkness, won’t see even a hint of the light that is cast from the outermost perimeters of God’s throne. There, the darkness will fall as thick as one can never imagine; so dark that after an eternity of eternities there is not sufficient light accumulated for the eyes to adjust; thus, allowing a man to see the face of the one screaming profanities; cursing God. “Where is he,” the man will plead! “Won’t this ever stop? Shut up! I can not bear even another day of this!” And with that, there is a moment’s silence… and the one that had begged… you, perhaps; who wanted to see the face of the man, continued in your profanities.
