Millpond Ink Musing – The Big Picture

Do you see God in the Word? I don’t mean the word ‘God.’ Of course we do. But do you see God in His essence and Being in the sum of the total number of verses; all 31,102 of them that span the sixty-six books? If I sent you a picture of my finger, could you describe my face? If I sent a picture of my face, could you accurately describe my height, weight, and other characteristics? Well, that’s why we need to understand and appreciate all of God’s Word. Too many of us have an abstract; if not an out and out erroneous view because we haven’t embraced the entirety of the Word of God; thus, God Himself.
