As the believer is the Father’s gift to His Son,
so are the talents given by God to the elect
that they may bring glory and honor to His Son. Jesus is the Master… the Bridegroom… spouse of his bride—his body.
Christ shall return one day and inquire of his own as to their works.

What excuse will we give? I would certainly caution against blaming the Master on earth,—2 Corinthians 5:10
