Talents Rise, November 10, 2025

As the believer is the Father’s gift to His Son,
so are the talents given by God to the elect
that they may bring glory and honor to His Son.
Jesus is the Master… the Bridegroom… spouse of his bride—his body.
Christ shall return one day and inquire of his own as to their works.
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive his due for the things done in the body, whether good or bad.”
—2 Corinthians 5:10
What excuse will we give? I would certainly caution against blaming the Master on earth,
which is manifest when we blame the young Nikita’s in their poundings,
or we have our offerings buried because a brick and mortar calls them dead.
In the marriage union of the elect, let no man put aside what the Lord has joined! If we must venture to Zarephath,
let God’s talents and gifts be made known there…
ministering to the widow and her son.
We have no excuse.
We have no blame.
Not where God’s Spirit is neither grieved nor quenched. What is that to you, Jesus said. Feed my sheep. We must do as God works in us to will,
and with what he has given us in talent and ability.
We must know that the mustard seed planted today
will not become the haven until it has reached maturity.
A talent and a gift given by God will find its purpose,
and while the laborer may feel rejected among men,
“A bruised reed he will not break,
and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out.
In faithfulness he will bring forth justice.”
