To walk by faith and not by sight. What does that mean to me? It means looking past the right now of ‘what is’ and gaze into ‘what will be – beyond all I see today, which will soon – too soon – fold into tomorrow. Yes, by God’s grace, I will hopefully see and examine everything as if reality is the illusion, and what I see by faith is the ‘eternal-real.’ What do I see as the ‘eternal-real?’ Christ seated gloriously on his throne.
Now, what ‘real’ is it that I see? The ‘natural-real’ which exists without faith. Birth… life… death… burial… the good and bad that lays in-between. That’s where the ‘natural-real’ is you know – the in-between — wedged in-between eternity past and future – the ‘eternal-real.’ Take those two measures of time – eternity past and future – and add my lifetime? That is infinity, and by faith, that is where I see my Lord and Savior dwelling on his glorious throne – infinity.
