Of Liberty, Divine

There is a freedom that transcends
anything man can offer and protect.
It is a liberty born and sustained by the Spirit of God.
It is a quiet contentedness
a peace that only those in Christ can know.
Beyond understanding,
brought and bought by a Father’s love,
which only a child of God can fathom.
And who are these children?
Those whom the Father loved from eternity and chose,
those contrite and weary of heart.
